The Pop project

This project is funded by the Bradford Youthbuild Trust and is free for young people 16-25 who have mild to moderate mental health issues or barriers to education, training and employment.

There will be blocks of creative sessions running throughout the year. The sessions will also include the opportunity to take part in a Level 2 Certa accredited Team building unit.

The aim of these sessions is to provide young people with the skills and confidence to move into further education, training and volunteering opportunities.

Young people who complete the programme can become volunteers to support the next intake. We will work with local partners to provide progression opportunities once the project has ended

Referrals from mental health partners are welcome and we advise in the first instance that you contact [email protected] or phone 01274 598 928 to arrange a visit to Hive or to book onto  one of the courses

Our Justart programme provides structured activities for young offenders. Working in partnership with the Bradford Young Offenders Team (YOT) we are able to engage up to six young people a session in arts and crafts work.

" Hive staff have assisted me personally when I bring my own family. I have also brought along young people from YOT who have been made to feel welcome at Hive"
